Simona Rednic is a professor at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Iuliu Hatieganu from Cluj and also the president of the Romanian Society of Rheumatology.
Simona considers that beyond clinical and scientific expertise, performance in medicine means multiple roles and a continuous process of listening, change, and behavior adaptation.
“The perspective of the leader’s legacy is also a good one in the Ethys executive coaching education program. Because finally, you have to choose, like cleaning a messy desk, and honestly decide what to keep and what to throw away. What’s most valuable as a contribution to my legacy? A new high-tech ultrasound machine or the investment in coaching&leadership education for my group in order to better face the continuous change and the more and more complex problems to come? Which choice would be better for the patients and for our own professional resilience and long-term performance?”
Ethys is privileged that Simona advises and keeps us complementary to medical education and work, and scientifically grounded.
